Prepare for the After Life!
Becoming a Christian is the most important event that will ever take place in your life. You have found peace with your Creator. You have found everlasting life!
You can know this for a FACT - - God will never leave you nor forsake you!!!
He has brought you this far and He will complete the wonderful work He has begun in you. God knows your every thought, your every care and your deepest concerns. God is everywhere.
Let's now look at some of those possible concerns. First, and of primary concern -- do you have "assurance" of your salvation? The Bible says to "make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10, italics added), so, let's go through a short "checklist" to make sure that you are truly saved:
Are you aware that God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:14, KJV), and that he died for the sins of the world?
Did you come to the Savior because you had sinned?
Did you "repent" and put your faith in Jesus?
Are you convinced that He suffered and died on the Cross and that He rose again on the third day?
God acquits us from the Courtroom of Eternal Justice on the grounds that Jesus Christ paid our fine. We are "justified" (made right with God) by His suffering death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was God's seal of approval of the fact that His precious blood was sufficient to pay the fine.
Think of it this way... You have violated the law and face a $50,000 fine. You tell the judge that you are truly sorry for your crime, but he answers, "So you should be -- you have broken the law! Now, can you pay this fine?" He can only acquit you if the fine is paid. If someone else pays your fine, then he can let you go, but he must have "grounds" on which to release you.
The reason we need a substitute (a savior) to pay our moral "fine," is because we have broken God's Law. To see how much we have transgressed this Law (the Ten Commandments), we will go through some of them -- Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever lusted after another person? If you answered "Yes" to these questions, you admit that you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart, and you have to face God on Judgment Day! If you have used His name in vain, then you are guilty of "blasphemy" -- you've substituted God's holy Name for a curse word. Perhaps you've hated someone, then the Bible says that you are a murderer. You have violated God's holy Law, and you're in BIG trouble. On Judgment Day, you will be found guilty and end up in Hell. That's why you need the Savior. Merely being sorry for your sins, or confessing them to God won't help you. You must turn from sin (repent), and your faith must be in Jesus Christ alone. He is the only "grounds" for God to grant mercy towards you.
If you're not sure you are saved, make Psalm 51 your personal prayer!
The Bible offers great hope and promises.
II Peter 3:9 says that God is "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
Imagine you are standing in front of a judge, GUILTY of serious crime. All the evidence has been presented and there is no doubt of your guilt. Your apologies and good works cannot erase your crimes; therefore you must be punished. The fine for your crime is $250,000 and you have no money.
The judge is about to pass sentence when someone you don't even know rushes in and pays your fine for you! The court accepts the money and declares that you are free to go.
That is exactly what God did for you on the cross 2000 years ago.
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus loved you so much that he paid the penalty for your sin, so you wouldn't have to!
God has provided a way of escape. And that is through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
What must I do?
Repent of Your Sin - That means turning away from your sin and asking God to forgive you for breaking His law. Jesus said in:
Luke 13:3
"Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
NEXT ...
Refuse Your Own Self-Effort, Realize that there is no way you can work your way to heaven or somehow be "good enough" to earn heaven.
Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by GRACE ye are saved through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT of works, lest any man should boast."
Trust in Jesus Christ as Your Only Hope. Trust in Jesus, like you would trust a parachute if you were jumping out of an airplane. You wouldn't just believe in the parachute, you would put it on (trust it) and jump (act on it).
That is how we must put our FAITH and TRUST in Jesus as our only hope of heaven.
Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Receive Jesus Christ as Your Savior and Lord - Turn your life over to him!
II Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Today with all your heart, turn away from your sin, and surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Please don't put it off. You may die today and then it will be too late. Put your faith and trust in Him today.

The Key Signs
The most important signs are the ones that relate to Israel
because God uses the Jews throughout the Scriptures as His prophetic
time clock. By this I mean that very often when the Lord is revealing
an important event that will take place in the future, He will point
to the Jewish people and state that when a certain thing happens
to them, the important event will also occur.
A good example of this principle can be found in Daniel 9 in the
famous "Seventy Weeks of Years" prophecy. The prophet tells us to
watch for a decree to be issued that will authorize the rebuilding
of Jerusalem. He then says that the Messiah will come sixty-nine
weeks of years (483 years) after that decree is issued to the Jewish people.
There are two key prophecies which relate the return of Jesus to
events that have occurred in Jewish history since 1948. These two events
clearly established the period in which we are now living as the season
of the Lord's return.
